I just installed my first Raspberry Pi running FreeBSD - it's an RPi 3 running FreeBSD 13.2, serving my personal Website and Gemini Capsule. (The other three Pis in my server cabinet are all running Linux; one for OpenVPN, another for Home Assistant, and the third for Pi-hole).
It went very smoothly - all I really needed was Ethernet for this purpose, and it worked just fine out of the box.
