Currently I am still using UFS1 on my FreeBSD machine and it has a date range December 14, 1901-January 18, 2038.
First question:
I want to update to UFS2 or ZFS and would like to know what the date range is for these filesystems, is there any documentation that describes this? It would be good if the full date range is documented, i.e. with hours, minutes, seconds and if necessary with nanoseconds.
Second question:
In addition, also look for the info on UFS2 and ZFS what the timestamp granularity is for all the timestamps that stat command can display - https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi....0-RELEASE+and+Ports&arch=default&format=html.
Is it 1 second, 1 millisecond or 1 nanosecond? I would like to know here if there are differences with UFS1 and there is improvement.
