I am using FreeBSD 14.5-RELEASE and since 2026Q4 quarterly packages the trash does not work in Xfce nor Mate DE. Their respective file managers does not refresh file modification that occur in filesystem (file added or deleted).
So after some investigation and other packages problems, I decided to build my own packages with ports-mgmt/poudriere. I reverted default compilation options of the port filesystems/gvfs from FUSER=ON to FUSER=OFF and LSOF=OFF to LSOF=ON.
This bug is now solved for me.
With the hope that it can be useful to others.
