I've got a small notebook with Intel HD 3000 graphics on FreeBSD 9.0. I can run X just fine, unless I want to run at a resolution higher than 800x600 (I believe that's what it is...it's huge. That's what matters.) In xorg.conf, I have: Code: Driver "vesa" But I want to use "intel". If I switch, X won't start. I've got xf86-video-intel driver installed, I even did make deinstall/reinstall to make sure it wasn't messed up. I've seen a lot of other threads about this, but no definite answers. Anyone got a fix?
