In simple terms: the situation now seems simpler than it was in April 2022.
I can, at least:
- Fix user switching · sddm/sddm@3ee57e9 (2023-02-01).

I can, at least:
- switch to any alternative account for which I have the password (a second user, very useful for test purposes)
- sign out the second user
- unlock the first session.
