currently I'm performing an update of gettext with relatives dependencies, after that I'll perform a full update. Anyway, I dont guess those missed libs are causing wine malfunction, if I dont get wrong, they are not related to wine...but this I'll see when I'll do next updates. About...
I'm not agree with you at all. I dont want to say UFS is bad, I think is really does good work, fat32 does it too (with limitations of course) or ntfs, but I think that a OS has to enhances itself on filesystems scenario in order to have a "flexible" OS environment. Ever lot of people I see ask...
Why freebsd does not have same or similar linux hot develpment about filesystems? I think that is very bad for freebsd, 1:1 compatibility among differents (and widespread) filesystems is the key for the OS, to get more visibility over soho or desktop scenario. actually, freebsd has very tiny...
Just for curiosity, how many of you use wine on freebsd without any issue in runtime? And if there someone, how have installed wine? what are mandatory system conf requirement for install and use it? I mean linux comp configuration or kernel conf, or something else..

indeed, so you, to upgrade your laptop you have to setup a server, jailed env or similar... I dont guess this is suitable for most users though, I repeat. So, any other nicer/smart solutions?
set a server on is not toppest solution tough, then will be packages that won't suit on my laptop, starting or building from a server machine. If my laptop needs some features (and server does not), I will be same situation as above written, I guess there will be some ports/packages...
Hi all. Really, this is not a problem at all, I was wondering which port/package upgrade behavior keep in my own, due the fact performing regular upgrading (for me, typically (portmaster -a) , therefore no packages..) the entire operation can lasts 2-3 days too. This happen too often and users...

# portmaster -r gettext
... portmaster -a
after proposed me following pkgs upgrade:
