I have the same problem on FreeBSD9.1 amd64. The logfile always outputs the following on each share access. And there is also a notable delay on each access to a share: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/fam-root/fam-SAMBA Any news on this one yet?

Hi, here is another one that will let you create jails on a non-zfs filesystem (without creating it via snapshots) easily, including a couple of default config files (rc.conf, fstab, etc) and does also perform a couple of pre-checks (dir not empty, dir available, etc)...

No nothing suspicious there. I also noticed that I do not have an UPDATING or UDPATE file in /usr/ports as it used to be. All this happened after the upgrade to FreeBSD 9 RC3

I have just updated my portstree so that I can rebuild the latest samba36. Apparently after the update the net/samba36 is there, but it is empty. Is it just me or does anybody else has this problem?
