Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any information about the OpenOCD port?
Specifically, I'm wondering if there is any chance that it will be updated to the 12.0 version, or if there are any obstacles that need to be overcome before it can be updated.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I'm not familiar with traveling abroad, but I'm thinking about attending the EuroBSD 2023 conference in Portugal. Would anyone have any good tips to share on travel and accommodation there?
One tip if you prefer to keep rc.conf simple.
You can remove settings with default values which are in /etc/defaults/rc.conf
This of course can be found from man rc.conf, but if you are new to FreeBSD you might not yet be familiar with it.
Might not be appropriate at your situation or I might have misunderstood above comment, but in pf that is not a problem:
pf.conf
Host name resolution and interface to address translation are done
at ruleset load-time. When the address of an interface (or host
name) changes (under DHCP or PPP...
Just a side note most probably already know.
You could also use drill that is part of base system.
drill freebsd.pool.ntp.org will use nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf
Maybe stupid question, but have you configured wireless interface in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf and /etc/rc.conf like advised in Handbook ?
Buy the way, you should not need to compile that module yourself, as it is included in base system (in stable branch).
Sometime ago in similar situation I used exmples from snd_hda to get correct configuration.
If you have not yet looked at those, they might give some help.
If I remember correctly, I used in similar case iconv command to convert files before using them. Unfortunately I could not find my notes about the issue and I don't remember what codecs I used.
Problem is not how paths are set. Problem is that customization of vanilla FreeBSD needs RCS, configuring network and installing packages to name few. But at the moment best approach seems to be to change this whole concept somehow different. Lucky thing is there is no rush, so I will study this...
At the moment my implementation depends on RCS being part of base system. So I can't just continue using it like now if it needs to be installed from ports. I guess it's smaller change to switch to svnlite, but I think this is good time to start thinking different approaches, which of course is...
I'm still shocked and not able to think clearly, so this post might be confusing o_O
When installing 12 to test machine and starting to test new configurations I noticed RCS was removed from base system.
This really came from bushes to me. I can't remember such old things, but I'm pretty sure I...
