Hello,
I need to install haskell-platform but as far as I know there is no package for pkg for.
So I need to use ports.
Is this a wise thing to do or is there a better way ?

Hello,
I try to port a new package which has a lot of schemas in the schemas directory. Schould I add them all to the GLIB_SCHEMAS in the Makefile?
Roelof
The same error stays so the problem is not solved. Maybe a weird question but schould the Makefile have to have some line to clone or update the git repo?
Roelof
Edit 1: Can it be the problem that the url is: https://github.com/linuxmint/muffin. So Muffin is a sub-project of Linux Mint?
Hello,
For learning how porting works in FreeBSD I try to update Muffin. I now have this:
# Created by: Gustau Perez i Querol <gustau.perez@gmail.com>
# $FreeBSD$
PORTNAME= muffin
PORTVERSION= 1.8.2
CATEGORIES= x11-wm gnome
DIST_SUBDIR= gnome3
MAINTAINER= gustau.perez@gmail.com
COMMENT=...
Ok, then I think I have to work on GNOME3 because as far as I know it's also not in the ports tree.
And as far as I can see the ports from malco are still 1.7.7 where Cinnamon is now at 1.8.8 for stable and 1.9.2 for the development version.

Oke,
So if I want to follow this tutorial : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/%2Absd-17/howto-modern-freebsd-install-vermaden-way-783841/ /dev/ad0 for me will be /dev/ad0s2
Hello,
I have no asterisk in the gpt column. The link you gave me doesn't work. I get a No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator error message.
Hello,
If I want to install FreeBSD on the second partition of my disk with the 9.0 disk. What is the name of the partition of the FreeBSD partition.
Roelof
That could work if you have a few packages. The last time I had to rebuild there were some 400 - 500 packages to rebuild.
Edit 1 : If I use the output of pkg_libchk and feed it to portmaster. Could that work and how do I do that?
