netatalk3: Why does it need Cairo (and X11)?

Hi! I'm trying to build Netatalk3 on my NAS. It works fine, but it for some reason builds Cairo and X11. Why does it do this? I don't really need them for sharing files to my Mac clients. Can I disable it or prevent it from doing so somehow? Thanks, ultra

    Installing Warden without QT?

Hi! Is it possible to install the command line/curses version of Warden (http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Warden%C2%AE) without installing the QT version and the associated dependencies? :) How would one do so? I'm new to FreeBSD, so excuse me if it's a dumb question. Best regards, ultra

It didn't recognize it. If I ran ifconfig -a it would only show loopback. I solved it by using 9.1-RC3 instead of 9.0-RELEASE. Seems the network adapter wasn't supported?

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in running their NAS using either ZFSguru or FreeNAS in a FreeBSD jail? Is it at all possible? I'm currently in the process of configuring my own NAS and I'm looking for a good/safe/stable setup. :) Any response is greatly appreciated. :)...
