Solved Where to get old packages?

Hi, I tried to find some archived packages but with no luck. I have just found archive-ftp.freebsd.org where are older FreeBSD releases with default packages. Is it possible to download for example php53-5.3.29_5? Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, scrub in on $ext_if all fragment reassemble works. I did not have a chance to try it sooner, sorry for the delay. I set this thread as solved. Thanks again.

    Solved PF + IPv6

There was a problem with scrubbing. It works well with IPv4 but it drops IPv6 packets: The rule is: scrub on $ext_if all reassemble tcp fragment reassemble Now I'm trying to find how to solve it.

    Solved PF + IPv6

Alright, I have found a problem: scrub on $ext_if all reassemble tcp fragment reassemble Is there any way how to normalize IPv6 packets? It seems there is no support for it.

    Solved PF + IPv6

I ran pfctl -vvsr as junovitch recommended and it seems (if I read it correctly) that there is really something wrong: @8 pass out log on igb0 inet6 proto tcp from (igb0:5) to ! (igb0:5) flags S/SA modulate state (max 90000, source-track rule, max-src-conn 1000, max-src-nodes 256, adaptive.start...

    Solved PF + IPv6

Yes, it listens. When I'm trying to telnet service on IPv6 directly from the machine, it works: sockstat www httpd 68843 3 tcp6 2001:20:10::214:84:80 *:*

    Solved PF + IPv6

Thanks. I made some research as you recommended. There might be problem in the "pass out" rule while on IPv6 if I read logs correctly. Here is some log output: IPv4 port 80 (works): telnet: telnet 10.26.18.4 80 Trying 10.26.18.4... Connected to 10.26.18.4. Escape character is '^]'. pflog...

    Solved PF + IPv6

HI, I'm having hard time with configuring PF firewall to firewalling IPv6 traffic. IPv4 works well. But IPv6 has some strange behavior. For example I have a rule like this: pass in on $ext_if inet proto { tcp } from any to <www_servers> port { 80 443 } keep state pass in on $ext_if inet6 proto {...

pkg wants to remove certain packages

I'm sorry. FreeBSD is version 8.4-RELEASE-p16 pkg version 1.3.8 Should I follow the advice from UPDATING even if I have pkg version 1.3.8? We never had pkg on this server - it's just switched from ports.

pkg wants to remove certain packages

Hi, I'm trying to install a package but pkg wants to remove some packages which have nothing to do with desired software. Here is the output: pkg install mc Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue... FreeBSD repository is up-to-date. All repositories are up-to-date. The following 2 packages will...

make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue

Hi, I have some problems with the ports tree. I ran portsnap update and from that point I cannot install new packages with the make install clean command. It still gives me this: # make Unknown modifier 't' "/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 1767: Malformed conditional (defined(USE_RC_SUBR) &&...

    Supermicro X9DR3-F and SAS

Thank you both.. I found more information regarding this: FreeBSD newly 9.1 provides kernel driver isci(4) which makes devices attached to SCU on this particular board available for OS. The same kernel driver is provided in FreeBSD 8.3 as well. I will probably wait for the 9.1-RELEASE...
