Installing openSMTPD wants to remove sendmail

The pkg-install -I option is not intended to do what you have in mind. The problem in this particular case is that some of the mail/sendmail and mail/opensmtpd man pages are in conflict due to the same names [1]. There is no pkg-install option to exclude parts of the package from installation...

Totally newbie with FreeBSD 14-RELEASE. Added new hard disk with zfs, i can't able to mount it. Need actual help.

Totally newbie with FreeBSD 14-RELEASE. Added new hard disk with zfs, i can't able to mount it. Need actual help.

SirDice, I believe OP wants to import (mount) the pool from ada1p3 to copy data over onto ada0p3. What's on ada1 looks like a already installed bootable ROOT-on-ZFS. jlas9, what you are looking for is zpool-import.

Why in FreeBSD, despite changing the settings in the daemon, the system sometimes uses either the old settings or mixes them up.

You misunderstood me. I asked how did you execute the rc script, not how did you edit it. For example: service rtorrent restart /usr/local/etc/rc.d/rtorrent restart Run as root grep -r SampleSSID /etc /usr/local/etc. This should show which file does the configuration. Have you set the ipfw...
