Need help: snd_hda pin config Realtek 0x0236 (Lenovo 330S Ideapad)

This: I've searched all over the forum and read a lot of post, man pages and docs, yet still I can't make head or tails on how to configure the pins for the Realtek 0x0236 on my notebook. - Sound (pcm0) works but is substandard (compared to the way it sounds on the preloaded Windows and a test...

Touchpad is not recognized on Lenovo Ideapad 330S-14IKB

Sad but true, the touchpad on the Lenovo 330s actually is connected to the i2c bus and FreeBSD has no support as of yet. I'm going to leave the following link for further information: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D16698

    black screen during sleep resuming

Even if ACPI is not FreeBSD´s strongest point, your problem seems to be the lack of a reliable driver for your graphic card (which I can assume is an Intel Ironlake). FreeBSD´s Konstantin Belousov seem to be working on it...

    Hibernate

Then you still need a bios that supports S4BIOS ... And then he´s still talking about amd64 ... And then ... you still need the thing to wake up ... let alone the drivers ... So, is it supported? Or is it that under some particular circumstances and given the right conditions it works or may...

    BSD laptop

I knew about it but when I saw it for the first time (like a year and a half ago) the specs sheet wasn't complete. Anyways, and as much as I would buy it with my eyes closed, the price tag is probably nowhere near something I can afford ... let alone the import's feed I'd have to pay for it...

Safest bet on getting up to date info on kde on FreeBSD would be to follow KDE on FreeBSD. Hope that helps.
