    I finally figured this out so I'll answer my own question. ;) First I added a floppy entry to /etc/fstab. /dev/fd0 /floppy msdosfs rw,noauto 0 0 Then changed permissions on /dev/fd0. # chmod 666 /dev/fd0 Finally, I changed vfs.usermount to 1. # sysctl vfs.usermount=1

    What are you doing with FreeBSD?

    I'm not using it for anything in particular. Just learning something new, and testing to see if it will be a suitable desktop replacement once XP is no longer supported. It's also nice to have a secondary OS installed just in case. ;)
