    BlueDevil

No it won't. If you use some Android based phone you can use this: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/productivity/remote-desktop_oypv.html I tried and it worked (on Linux). The communication is via WIFI- but maybe it can be via bluetooth if you pair both PC and phone. That...

What the "story" behind your username?

This is phonetic transcription how the Dutch pronounce my name- therefore Pjoter instead of Piotr. It is just easier for them :)

    ZOOM Sound Devices

Hello, if snd_uaudio doesn't work this device won't work. The same situation is for Edirol/Roland and M-Audio series- simply BSD doesn't support such devices- at least not in "advanced mode". If you have to use it stick to other system rather than FreeBSD. Kr, Pjoter.

    Java Web Start & Plugin 8.1-STABLE / jdk16

I don't know what Oracle is driving regarding Java. I only know that FreeBSD or BSD in general doesn't offer good working plugin (apart some outdated port of jdk) for production usage. At this moment openjdk cannot offer nothing working (this is not BSD related but openjdk). That's a pity...

    Java Web Start & Plugin 8.1-STABLE / jdk16

To use java jdk (the sun one) you need firefox prior 3.6 release (I think 3.5.9 is still available). Unfortunately there is a code change in plugins handling in 3.6. Please see the NetBSD discussion about that: Openjdk6/7 never worked for me unfortunately- not NetBSD nor FreeBSD. BTW, why...

    OpenBSD 4.8 Released!

I think there are not enough people in OpenBSD developers group, therefore they focus on more substantial parts of system. But true, I would love to have full i18n support in console, proper suspend/resume on my T61, good framebuffer and my UA-25 Edirol sound card fully supported :) I will...

    Confirmation request: T61 and suspend/resume

Yeah, I expected that- not my hardware realated problem. Anyway 9.0 also does the same. Just pity. But thanks for checking :) Pjoter.

    CUPS won't run

Hi please use 8.1 and don't compile OpenOffice ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/FreeBSD/3.2.1/i386/. :) I think your problem is related to that one: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=1291 What does the error log show? P.
