    I'll swap the power supply though I doubt, it's the reason for the problems. I never had these device losses so far when scrubbing was running - as my ZFS runs on geli, this means my server runs ~ 14 hours constantly on really heavy load.     My "mainserver" loses devices now and then (9.1 rel and now 9.2 rel too) - after rebooting everything is back and fine (zpool scrub also says everything is ok) So I don't really know where to search to find out what is causing the problems. Bad sectors at the same time on three devices...

    ZFS is designed as 128 bit so it will be usable for 10 or even 20 years - but already the "current" generation of hard disks makes major changes in the source code(!!) necessary. Even 1 Terabyte Sectors make sense with a 128 bit Filesystem! Hmmm how strange is that?

    WD Green are sold with a VERY short idle timeout before parking heads ~ 8 Seconds - if you don't change that (wdidle.exe) the load/unload cycles will grow really fast - finally this will lead to a SMART failure - as the number of load/unload cycles is limited.

    Hmmm it seems there are also write errors, so you problaby won`t find them when reading. It`s bad but I had this before, harddisks are ok with S.M.A.R.T but when wrtiting e.g. with dd they failed - S.M.A.R.T though still sometimes reported "OK"..... Though one does expect S.M.A.R.T to work...
