notebook was crashing during installation

My notebook was crashing completely during kde-lite installation from ports.
What can I do now, is it a correct way?

1.) check all partitions in user single mode using fsck

2.) start the kde-lite installation using 'make install clean' again

BTW kde-lite will be installed from the beginning or it will continue?

Did any errors pop up on the console or in the logs when your computer crashed? It's a good idea to find out what caused the problem before trying again.

As for installing KDE again, if you wish to start anew, do make clean before building it again, or the old files will still be there.
