unable to change option with polkit-gnome-authorization

I need help to fix polkit-gnome-authorization. I'm unable to change anything on System->Preference->Authorization. I know I don't have permission to do that on root. But i need the permission. I need help please! I don't know How to change that.

I can't remember exactly if this was the solution for me (I can't even remember having the problem), but can you try adding your user to the org.freedesktop.policykit.modify-defaults policy?
