gnome2-lite gdm gnome_enable...

gnome2-lite doesnt include gdm, right?
so does it need gnome_enable="YES" in rc.conf to run properly?... since gnome_enable enables gdm?

but gnome2-lite includes avahi, so is the gnome_enable line needed to start avahi? if so, will there be some conflict since gdm isnt installed?

or can i just go with the dbus and hald lines in rc.conf and be ok?

ok i tried it. with gnome2-lite, you dont need gnome_enable="YES" in rc.conf.
the hald and dbus lines will work just fine. everything is perfect.

If you want avahi to start also add avahi_daemon_enable="YES" to rc.conf.
