And sometime kdeinit4 hits 100% CPU usage all the time. I have to reboot my system to recover.

Same here with KDE 4.7.3. Fortunately (maybe it's the Nvidia here to praise) I do not have the 100% CPU or complete crashes. Just once or twice a day, kdeinit4 seems to die and restart, without losing any work.

Hmm, I haven't noticed any issues like the above yet, though I'm likely not on this system as often as you guys are.

9-STABLE, amd64 box with Nvidia card.

I have 8.2-RELEASE, amd64 and use this as my primary development workstation/test server/environment. Today, its almost 16:13 PM, and hadn't got a single knotify yet! (maybe i was too lazy to stress it - monday lol)
