canot `make config` using xmonad

cd /usr/ports/emulators/virtualbox-ose
sw2wolf@/usr/ports/emulators/virtualbox-ose>sudo make config
the roxterm scolls up blue lines and reports
=====>Options unchanged

However, it works great using openbox.

Is it any different if you just use 'su -' instead of sudo?

There is no any different whether using sudo or not .
