xfce menu editor

hi.I have installed the latest xfce but i dont know how to edit menu.a lot of installed packages are not showing on menu.

Edit the menu by adding 'application.desktop' file in /usr/local/share/applications. Replace 'application' with the name of the application that you wish to be listed in the menu. Am sure you'll get the gist by viewing some of the files in there.
