Remotely view the filesystem and edit files using a GUI

I appreciate your concern but as I mentioned already dolphin and kwrite are working perfectly. I do not see any reason for me to change my options. Thank you.
I quote you (highlighted) where you specifically state that it is "not ideal since the host system is slow".

Thanks, I forwarded dolphin and it lets me open kwrite. Although it is not ideal since the host system is slow.
So at this point, I suspect you are trolling. Or, your concept of "working perfectly" is considerably incorrect.

The phrase "kwrite is a bad choice" does openly challenge one's preferences.
Nah, you are being defensive for some reason. Understand that sometimes technical limitations (i.e of the host) are more important than preference. Shovelling complex GUI through the X11 protocol is less effective than shovelling simple GUI through the X11 protocol. Understand? Perhaps I took for granted that this is common knowledge.

The need of that time was to find a way to rw onto my FreeBSD disk with a GUI
And that is exactly what X11 or X11/ssh with i.e VcXsrv is for.

If you are a Wayland kid, then VNC/RDP-subset is the only option for you. But, again, that is a "bad choice" on a slow host.

Care to explain how exactly do you know that I haven't tried any?
Your following statement basically:
dolphin and kwrite are working perfectly. I do not see any reason for me to change my options. Thank you.

Good luck!

I clearly mentioned "still it a good alternative for the time being. Thanks."
You are hell bent on stating that my choice is bad and insisting that I need your help. I do not! Stop trying to help me.

your concept of "working perfectly" is considerably incorrect.

But, again, that is a "bad choice" on a slow host.
Once again, you are trying to decide for me what is and what isn't correct or a bad choice for me or my host.

Nah, you are being defensive for some reason
Nah, you are being offensive for some. More like you have this uncontrollable urge to tell people that they are wrong and only your way is correct and you can help them.

Perhaps I took for granted that this is common knowledge.
There you go once again. You surely seem to know what we collectively as humans know and do not commonly.

Understand?
Wow. Just wow!

So at this point, I suspect you are trolling.
The amount of words you have spewed, without actually helping me, surpasses everyone else's response and clearly shows who the actual troll is.
